Mūsų kolegos estai organizuoja "saldžią" ekskursiją į Kelno šokolado muziejų. Štai jų kvietimas ir informacija:
Sunday, November 16, the Estonian colleagues are organizing a sweet trip to Cologne (Köln), with the main objective of visiting the world-famous Chocolate museum of Cologne.
They have hired a big 50-seat comfortable bus from Vandivinit company, which still has some 10-15 places free.
If you are interested to take part in the excursion, please contact Luxembourg Estonian Society les@les.lu or Mr Meelik Mallene tel 4300 22826 to let them know about your intention. They would be very happy to see you "on board" :)
The museum is situated in the middle of Cologne, on the river of Rein and near the Cologne Cathedral.
The organisers have hired 2 English speaking guides who will take us through the 3000 years of chocolate history.
Part of the museum is built into a jungle, where we can see how cocoa beans are grown. Also we can see the whole process of chocolate growing with our own eyes. In the top floor of the museum, there is a big selection of old chocolate advertisements and packages/wrappings
After the 1 hour guided tour it is possible for chocoholics to shop for various chocolate figures and have dinner in the museum restaurant above the river.
Before the bus starts the way back, there is also plenty of time to visit the Cathedral and look around in the old town for the pre-Christmas activities of the Colognians.
