Love, music happiness and dolce vita feeling- it's easy to understand why bossa nova thrills and charms millions of listeners. Although the golden age of bossa nova lasted only for six years, however it was enough for Brazilian samba rhythm and jazzy charm to conquer the whole world. Giedrė Kilčiauskienė is well known as a singer of "Empti" and "Milky Lasers" bands - she is a very universal and talented performer, who sings really good original alternative music as well as jazz standards. When Giedre is performing bossa nova tunes, she follows Astrud Gilberto footsteps and sings cosy, simply and with precise feeling of the style. At the same time, Giedre's performance is delicate with exceptional light ease in her voice, original accents and of course filled with improvisation. The musicians playing in Blue Bossa band together with Giedrė have their moments for spontaneous interaction and improvisation through exceptional bossa nova tunes: Andrej Polevikov, who just recently came back from successful European tour, now is in the peak of creativity and has intense time of performing - you can clearly hear virtuosical, solid and original playing in his solo improvisations, who became more mature during the last couple of years. Rhythm section guys of Blue Bossa band: Vytis Nivinskas (bass), Andrius Kairys (drums) are known as some of the best music professionals of young generation, who are capable of impart peculiarity of any jazz style - even such delicate and capricious as is Brazilian bossa nova.
